Chief Executive Officer / Green Solar Companies
Having more than 20 years experience in the construction industry, Glenn has personally managed in excess of $81 million in construction projects. His breadth of experience includes contributions on projects from the installation of the first broadband infrastructure system in Omaha, Nebraska to cleanup of devastation resulting from Hurricane Andrew in Miami, Florida. He has completed construction projects from New Jersey to Georgia for such notable owners as NASA, the Department of Defense (DOD) and the General Services Administration (GSA), as well as many local and state municipalities.

He is a licensed general contractor in AL, FL, GA and reciprocating states and has been recognized as the Birmingham Minority Contractor of the year by the U.S. Minority Business Development Agency. He is former vice chairman of the Birmingham Construction Industry Authority. Before his career in development/ building, Glenn spent several years in commercial banking for one of the largest banks in the country. He was also an officer of the local chapter of the Minority Bankers Association and instructor for the American Institute of Banking.

Glenn is a graduate of Tuskegee University with a B.S. degree in Business Administration and a minor in accounting. He also holds a MBA degree concentrating in finance from Atlanta University where he received the Augustus Sterne Fellow for academic achievement. He has been recognized for civic achievement as Omega Man of the Year and Omega Citizen of the Year by the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He was the President of the Ministry to Men at St Phillips A.M.E where he organized the church Credit Union which now has assets approaching $100 million. Glenn has volunteered with the Jaycees, Toys for Tots and other civic and charitable organizations.
Currently, Glenn is CEO of Green Solar Companies where he oversees affordable green building design and construction, as well as, workforce training and development. Green Solar is currently designing or developing affordable housing in St Lucia, Liberia, West Africa and the United States. He is also working with a team of professionals to reconstruct the island of Haiti after the devastation of the 2010 earthquake and the recent aftermath of the tsunami in Japan.

Glenn is married to his wife, Velma, of 31 years and they have one daughter, Lindsey,
a Yale University graduate and aspiring actor. Glenn is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He and Velma spend time between their home in Atlanta, Georgia and Birmingham.
